Eco Warriors

During our last meeting we discussed what our job was as Eco Warriors and made our pledge.

Our pledge at Aspire Academy is to 

• Clean up rubbish in our school 

• Go litter picking outside our school

• Start a campaign to get our school to recycle plastics

• Bring wildlife to our playgrounds

• Plant bulbs around the school to make our garden more attractive

We then went for a walk around our school looking at areas we can improve to make our school more Eco-Friendly

This is what we noticed...

• Some rubbish on the floor
• A hole in the ceiling that might let out heating
• Lots of plastic being used around the school 
• Some lights were left on in rooms that were not in use 
• The tap was left running in one of the chidren’s toilets 
• Some computer screens were left on

We are going to make to plan and decise how we can make these things better.
