Sports Leaders

At our meeting we discussed our role as Sports Leaders at Aspire and decided on our group charter.

• Our Purpose for Sports council : 

To teach people about different sports. 

To introduce more sports at playtimes at Aspire

To talk about Sports and how to be safe when playing sports

• We are going to talk about :

Increasing sports awareness across Aspire

Making sport inclusive for everyone

More football games / drills at playtime

We then thought about the sports we could play at playtimes - different ones in the front and back playgrounds and made a list.

We decided who would be the Sports Leaders in the playgrounds

We also made a list of competitions and events we could organise at school. We thought everyone would like a volleyball competition, a cricket competition and a tennis competition.

We made a list of new eqipment we would want to buy for school.

We all decided that Staff V Children matches at Golden Time on Fridays were very popular and everyone enjoyed playing so we should carry on doing that on Fridays.
